Dear Julia: I am trying to locate for a friend a CD from the '80s called "The Cold". I was told that they were a group from New Orleans. I personaly have never heard of them. I used to do a mean Gladys Knight impression, until Poydras insisted on singing the Pips parts. I could also do Cher, but I didn't even want to imagine Poydras as Sonny. So I'm left writing about other people's recordings. Members of this local '80s band included lead singer Barbara Menendez and Kevin Radecker as well as Vance DeGeneres (yes he's Ellen's brother).
